Our South Dakota Trip

This past weekend we went to South Dakota to a snowmobile show. This show is my favorite. There is so much fun going on that you forget your are at a show/swap.

It's a family show... this is our friend, Paul and his son Ben.
Me & Saki. I ended up getting sunburn on my face. I think it's only happened one other time.
Strange people on strange things... our friend, Rampage likes to try out everyone's rides.
The husband.
Saki & her friend, Belle (owned by our friend, Dan). Although they weren't getting along real well this time around.
Paul's son again on a bike that just seemed like it would take too much effort to ride
Paul on his old bike/minibike/motorcycle. I'm not even sure what the hell it is.
everyone needs a motorized shopping cart, don't you think?Like I said, strange people... Saturday it rained, but Dan (Belle's daddy) had his trusty frog umbrella just for the occasion.
Paul had to get a picture of me on some sled... I don't even know who's sled this is!
and the husband & me.
and there you have it. Our trip to South Dakota. I guess you have to be into old sleds like we are to enjoy it. But maybe not... the people you meet are worth dealing with old crap for a weekend.

I Hate Myself for Loving You

Cheers to all us thieves!

Sunday Stealing: The Hate Meme

1. Most hated food:
green olives - biting into one will actually send me into full body convulsions. The demons think it's funny - aren't they just a couple of loving examples of the human species?
2. Most hated person:
I hate to hate anyone. I dislike a lot of people but I don't think I truely hate anyone. There are 3 people that I could list, but I still don't think I could call it hate.
3. Most hated job:
sewage pond cleaner. Not that I was one or anything, but I'd hate to have that job.
4. Most hated city:
any city. Any place on the map that is big enough to have a mall.
5. Most hated band:
Can't really think of one...
6. Most hated (non-blog) website:
irs.gov
7. Most hated TV program:
infomercals
8. Most hated politician:
are you suppose to like one or two of them or something?
9. Most hated artist:
Can't think of any of hand.
10. Most hated book:
a cookbook. There are too many things in there the husband wants me to make but I just don't have the ambition to try it.
11. Most hated shop or store:
any store that I have to walk through the doors of a mall to get to.
12. Most hated organization:
any religious denomination
13. Most hated historical event:
when the white man came to this country and thought it was ok to take it from the indians. How rude.
14. Most hated sport:
that one is easy. Golf. How smart are these people to hit a ball and then walk to find it and be stupid enough to hit it away from them again? And they do this 18 times in a row. You think after the 2nd time they would realize how dumb they are to hit it again. Unbelievable.
15. Most hated technology:
the computers in cars. Now the husband can't fix our vehicles anymore. It's annoying.
16. Most hated annual event:
Daylight Savings. It's so stupid and I hate that week after while my body is adjusting to waking up at the right time.
17. Most hated daily task:
drying my hair. Seriously, have you seen how thick this crap is? You dry it.
18. Most hated comedian:
Sam Kinison. I just hated his voice, not him personally. He was too jacked up to understand.
19. Most hated blog:
any one that overdoes those giveaway things.
20. Most hated song:
Drive by the Cars. Just because it's a stupid title for a stupid band name. It's always irritated the crap outta me. I dont' even know what the song is about because I can't get past the fact that a band called The Cars thought up a song called Drive. I wonder if they have a song called Idle. I bet they do. Losers.

Off to see the wizard....

Bright & early tomorrow morning we are packing up and headed to South Dakota to go here. If you notice, Saki is one of the unofficial mascots, along with her friend Belle. We are spending the weekend with a bunch of snowmobile addicted guys who are tons of fun. Some of them are already there and we are missing out on some of the fun, but we'll get there. Eventually.

You should come, too. It's alot of fun... just steer clear of Rampage & CruelPaul. I can't promise no harm will come of you.

Pictures to follow at the end of the weekend!

Golf Balls, Alphabet, Maggots, Butt Paste & Much More Madness

This week we will answer some crazy questions brought to you by Kimber, the color rojo and the number 334.

1. How many golf balls can fit inside a full sized school bus?
I have no idea but I just about spit all over my screen reading this one! I wouldn't want to try golf balls, but how about goof balls... I think the capacity is 64 on most buses. Maybe 68. I used to stare at that stupid number for 2 hours everyday - why can't I remember?

2. Who decided the alphabet order?
I don't know, but had they known about Bud's meme, they would have stopped much sooner.

3. Why doesn't McDonald's sell hotdogs?
I've always wondered that myself.

4. You go to a nice restaurant and they are offering free samples of cheese. You take a bite and it's delicious. Then they tell you the cheese is processed with maggots in it which make the great texture and flavor. Do you vomit at the thought of maggots, think "oh well but no more", or just ask for another sample?
I'm not one for puking from afterthoughts. I'd probably make a horrible face that would show every wrinkle and tell them to please get that crap out of my face.

5. Would you rather ride on a cloud or slide down a rainbow?
I've always wanted to float on a cloud - how comfy would that be for a nap? But sliding down a rainbow... that sounds heavenly! Oh wait, nevermind. I hate heights. I think I'd be screwed either way.

6. Do you know/care who Heidi & Spencer are?
Who?

Thats my answer I guess.

7. Have you ever used Butt Paste?
Why yes I have, have you? I do not have any in the house at the moment, but I should. Thats some sweet ass stuff! Pun intended.

8. Pie or cake?
Cake, of course! Are you partly insane for asking such a question? Well... unless it's banana creme pie or chocolate peanut butter pie.....

9. Do you remember when MTV used to play music videos?
Yes and can you believe that I have a few VHS tapes with them recorded? I used to spend hours recording MTV. I was so 80s.

Psychotic Housewife

Psychotic Housewife T-shirt

Are you a housewife with an evil side to you? Maybe your husband thinks you watch too many crime shows and is starting to worry that you are doing research instead of just enjoying the program.... maybe you are just a housewife with a twisted sense of humor!

A bunch of silly questions for Sunday

Cheers to all us thieves!

Sunday Stealing: The Monkey's Meme

1. Name one person who made you smile today:
I haven't smiled yet.
2. What were you doing at 8am this morning?
it hasn't hit 8am yet.
3. What were you doing 45 minutes ago?
I was snuggled up as tight as can be against the husband, a.k.a. "spooning", trying to stay sleeping. I don't want to get up...
4. What is your favorite candy bar?
I swear this is the most asked meme question ever and I refuse to answer it.
5. Have you ever been to a strip club?
No, but I've had a male stripper come to a party I was at. It was kind of stupid.
6. What was the last thing you had to drink?
did you not read that its not even 8am yet? Until it comes in IV form, I can only drink coffee so fast before I move onto other things
7. What was the last thing you ate?
a mushroom off of Demon #2's piece of pizza last night.
8. The last sporting event you watched?
I'm not sure... I don't remember.
9. Do you go to church every Sunday?
Nope. I used to, got the demons even going but they saw the ugly side of organized religion way too fast and decided they didn't want to be a part of it.
10. Do you prefer Chinese food over pizza?
Chow mien over pizza? I'd have to yes to that one. Only chow mien though.
11. What are you doing tomorrow?
working like I do everyday.
12. What do you think of when you hear Australia?
the country makes noise? Sweet. What does it say? I must be tone deaf to hearing countries. Now when an Australian man speaks... I think nasty naughty thoughts. Hubba hubba!
13. Biggest annoyance right now?
right now I'm pretty mellow... nothing is annoying me and can't think of anything off hand. Oh wait... I got one! There are HUGE fish out at the lake that we can see from shore but the somes-a-bitches won't bite on nothing.
14. Last song listened to?
I think it was Toby Keith's "God Love Her" on the radio on our way home from the lake yesterday.
15. Do you have a maid service clean your house?
thats some funny shit right there.
16. Are you jealous of anyone?
it used to be Mel Gibson's wife, but not so much anymore. So now I guess I have to start being jealous of the new girlfriend.
17. Is anyone jealous of you?
I don't know, are you?
18. What do you usually do during the day?
work... go visit my father...
19. Do you hate anyone that you know right now?
it would be sort of stupid to hate someone that you don't know, wouldn't it?
20. Are you thinking about someone right now?
I'm trying to think of someone that I don't know that I hate. It ain't working so well. I'll just go back to thinking about an Australian or Mel... much better.

Ducks & Hats?

I made this design yesterday. I really don't know if anyone will understand it, but it's funny just the same. This is something that my brother-in-law always says when he's acting like he's going to punish one of the kids....
I'll take you out behind the woodshed and knock you so flat, you'll be able to walk underneath a duck with your hat on!

Funny, humorous design for those with a sense of humor!

Like it? Want it? Go here to get it. Or pass it on to your friends, whichever the voices in your head decide you should do.

Thursday Thunker's Week! Take Two

These questions were submitted by Thursday Thunker participants! (so don't blame Kimber & Berleen for the quality of the questions.....)

we are picking up where we left off last week, which explains why we are starting with #21 instead of #1. Great work on the questions submissions everyone! It gave Kimber & I a much needed mental break. We posted these questions just as they were listed on the participant's blog.
21. How many states have you been in?
14 I believe. I've driven through quite a few.
22. If a sexist Man is called a pig, what is a sexist Woman called?
a bitch? Which is technically an animal, afterall.
23. You see the one person who you absolutely despise. If you were guarentee'd that he/she couldn't say or do anything back to you.... What would you do??
walk away... it's really not that worth it.
24. How many states are to the right of you? And don’t give us a map to look at.
5 if I'm sitting with myself facing south, which I am now... but if I'm facing north, I'd have to get out a map and count.
25. You can go anywhere in the world for free. Where are you?
Australia just to hear the men talk.
26. HOW MANY FINGERS AM I HOLDING UP?
I'm assuming none, unless you were typing one-handed.
27. Are you a boxing fan? Do you think there will be a rematch of the Hatton-Pacquiao fight?
Nope. Not a fan and I have no clue what the hell you are even talking about
28. What is the most disgusting thing you have ever eaten?
green olives.
29. Is it cloudy right now?
Yes. And I wish them clouds would drop some water out of them
30. What is your dream job?
to work with animals. A zoo. With big cats & their cubs.
31. Someone gives you a $500 gift card to WalMart or Target. What are you going to buy?
Lame alert!!!! I'd buy groceries.
32. When you were little, what did you want to be "when you grow up"? And, how much different is your occupation now from where you thought it would be when you were younger?
I wanted to be a veterinarian. Totally different now because the closest I get to working with animals is having them sit on my feet while I sit here and work at the computer.
33. what was your favorite toy as a child?
My Little Pony. But honestly, my favorite toy was anything I could find outside. Usually neighbors dogs or something.
34. How do you think these things up??
I can't speak for Kimber, but I tend to stare out my kitchen window and type out whatever enters my head.
35. Why do you think so many "fake" veterans get away with pretending? Why don't people question them more (especially the media who eats up their stories?)
I guess I'm a little confused at this question. I didn't realize there was a problem with people going around saying they were in wars.
36. What is the last place you had a good cry and why?
I really don't remember.
37. What do you mean?
I don't know, what do you mean?
38. Which Sesame Street Character do you relate with the most and why?
who doesn't love Elmo?
39. What song one would you listen to over and over if you absolutely had to?
there's a few Johnny Cash songs that I can't get sick of.
40. Did you ever make what you believed at the time to be a horrible mistake - that in hindsight turned out to lead you on the best path in your life?
Yep. I don't really want to get into details about it, though. Lame, I know.

Wow. Second time in this post I've used the word "lame" and I rarely use that word.

41. If you could change one thing on your person, what would it be?
Does this mean physically? My teeth.
42. What’s your favorite show to watch on television nowadays?
There's a few. House, Wife Swap, Days of our Lives, CSI... do I need to continue?
43. Do you believe there is life after death?
I'd like to believe there is and I hope there is, but it's hard to say I "believe" because one just really doesn't know.
