Yeah, so what? I have a wax problem and unless you are going to stick your tongue in my ear, why do you care?

I'm still trying to figure out exaclty what "snappish" means. Unexpected loud fricken booms might scare the hell out of me, I guess.
Funny fact - when I was growing up loud noises would NOT wake my dad up. You could sing & dance and play the banjo in his room and he'd keep snoring away... but if you would whisper in his ear he would jump out of his skin!

Senior Pics - she's all grown up!

My goddaughter stopped by today. I'm taking her senior pics for her this summer. It makes me feel older than dirt though... she was born the year after I graduated high school.... and here she is graduating next year!

We were brainstorming ideas for backgrounds, props and all that fun stuff. I am so excited to do this because she is the prettiest thing to ever walk this planet...

See? I wasn't making that crap up... she is fricken adorable. One of the pics she wants is her in an old rusty pickup (is she related to me or what? LOL)... I can't wait to do that one! Not to mention the fun I'll have with playing with the pictures later!!

I'm still thinking of different - unique - ideas for her pictures. (so is she) Anyone have any ideas?

600th post & Mel

This is my 600th post. Are we thrilled? I'm really not.....

Anyway. A friend of mine posted a picture of Mel in IC's picture of the day thread today... and one yesterday & today in the same type of thread over at VintageSledders.com.
He didn't know... or forgot... that I was "a Mel fan". I politely informed him that I am not just a fan - I am his future wife and that, yes, the husband knew about this.
How could he forgot about my love for Mel? Seriously? He isn't much a friend I guess to forget such a valuable piece of information about me. That would be like everyone forgetting Jodi & Elvis.

But I guess I've forgiven him because he did post this picture of Mel with a kitty. It is now my desktop background.

Oh... and sorry, I suppose if you aren't a member at IC yet you can't see that thread I was talking about. I guess you'll just have to join then.

Our South Dakota Trip

This past weekend we went to South Dakota to a snowmobile show. This show is my favorite. There is so much fun going on that you forget your are at a show/swap.

It's a family show... this is our friend, Paul and his son Ben.
Me & Saki. I ended up getting sunburn on my face. I think it's only happened one other time.
Strange people on strange things... our friend, Rampage likes to try out everyone's rides.

1. Most hated food:
green olives - biting into one will actually send me into full body convulsions. The demons think it's funny - aren't they just a couple of loving examples of the human species?
2. Most hated person:
I hate to hate anyone. I dislike a lot of people but I don't think I truely hate anyone. There are 3 people that I could list, but I still don't think I could call it hate.
3. Most hated job:
sewage pond cleaner. Not that I was one or anything, but I'd hate to have that job.
4. Most hated city:
any city. Any place on the map that is big enough to have a mall.
5. Most hated band:
Can't really think of one...

Drive by the Cars. Just because it's a stupid title for a stupid band name. It's always irritated the crap outta me. I dont' even know what the song is about because I can't get past the fact that a band called The Cars thought up a song called Drive. I wonder if they have a song called Idle. I bet they do. Losers.

Bright & early tomorrow morning we are packing up and headed to South Dakota to go here. If you notice, Saki is one of the unofficial mascots, along with her friend Belle. We are spending the weekend with a bunch of snowmobile addicted guys who are tons of fun. Some of them are already there and we are missing out on some of the fun, but we'll get there. Eventually.

You should come, too. It's alot of fun... just steer clear of Rampage & CruelPaul. I can't promise no harm will come of you.
