My rose bush might not be dead... there's some green on it. Not green growing stuff like leaves or anything, but the wood part (this is how you kill a rose bush; know nothing about them!) - there's some green on there!!
and no, it's not mold.

Give it time. It doesn't sound dead. Mine are just starting to get leaf buds now, and I've had warmer, more consistent weather than you. Read: it didn't snow a foot here last week :)

Much colder. Breezy. Rain showers and snow likely in the morning...then rain or snow in the afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 2 inches.
Who the hell writes up this stuff? I was RAKING THE YARD yesterday in 75 degree temps.
