1. When you close a door, do you close it quick and just let it slam or do you hold the knob and slowly shut it tight?
Strangely enough... now follow along here... I close the door by pulling on the knob on the opposite side of the door as I walk out of the room, then just before my hand gets squished I let go and the door magically follows it's movement into a closed fashion.

2.Train A is moving at 60 miles an hour. Train B is moving at 22 miles an hour. They will pass each other at X time. Now what color shoes are you wearing when train A derails?

Where in Gods green earth did you come up with this one, Kimberella? I don't even understand it, to be honest. Why the hell does train A derail anyway when they passed each other? And knowing me, I'm barefoot.

3. What if M&M's grew on trees? What color M&M tree would you have?
This was my question and I'll tell you why. My neighbors tree looks like it has red, orange & yellow M&M's on it. I think it's a crabapple tree or something but it's the funniest thing.
But if they really grew on trees? In July I would lay underneath them and catch the dripping chocolate as it fell... because as long as you don't pick them they will melt. Remember, M&M's don't melt in your hands.

4. How many petals on a flower does it take to make it the perfect bloom?
as long as its balanced with the same number of petals on either side of the flower, it's perfect.

5. I took you to spend $421.67 on you, what did we spend that money on?
a plane ticket for you to come home with me.

6. If you were a squash, what type of squash would you be?
an acorn squash... cooked with brown sugar and butter

7. Have you ever gotten a wrong number call and ended up talking to the person for longer than 5 minutes?
I don't believe so.

8. Why haven't you joined Berleen & Kimber at Insanity Cafe yet? Do we stink?

9. Now for one of Ber's questions back when TT was brand new... Shampoo bottles say lather, rinse, repeat... do you?
Never. And it still puzzles me everytime I'm in the shower why it says to do that.

10. It's July, the year is half over. Do you see it as "whew that part is over" or best is yet to come?
There are more warmer months left than colder so it's all good

What the hell did you do that for?

I can see people asking me that time and time again... but you would think they wouldn't anymore considering this is my 3rd tattoo. Actually 4th if you count the one I did myself in high school.
I got 4 dog paw prints and 4 cat prints... and yep, they represent something. The dog prints are for my Maxwell, the german shepard mix that I had to put to sleep a few years back. He was my baby. We went through hell & back together - too long of a story to really post here. I could, but I'm lazy.
The cat prints are for Murray who I posted a picture of the other day .

1. what would you say is your biggest blessing ?
I should say my demons, the husband and the fact that we are all basically healthy, right? That is so boring though! But really.... thats all I got.

2. do you shop on line...Home goods or personal items? Can you tell us what personal items you look for??
For some things. Depends on what and where.

3. Name a song from your past that you have always loved. what year was it recorded?
Elvira by the Oak Ridge Boys. What year? Heck if I know - it was from their Fancy Free album, which I owned.

4. If you found out there was a pedophile living in your neighborhood, would you take any action or ignore the fact??
I'd sit back and watch the neighbors do their thing. Somebody's gonna get him, it just won't have to be me.

5. If you could live in any city In the USA...what would it be.
I'm already here. But if I had to move... some small mountain town in Montana.

6. what is the one city you wouldn't live in even if you were paid to!?
St. Cloud, Minnesota. Ten years ago I would have thought about it.. you might have had to twist my arm, but I would have. Now? No way in hell. That isn't even the same fricken town anymore.

7. If you were strapped for cash would you ask a parent or sibling for money?
been there, done that, next?

8. what is your most favorite thing to do to relax when you are not working?
Fish.

N - Nicknames – for who? I grew up being called Puppet.

O – Overnight hospital stay – just with my babies.

P – Pet Peeve – people who call a leopard a tiger. Trivial, I know.

Q – Quote that you like most – There's nothing you can't do, some things just take a little longer. Said by that "D" guy.

R – Right or left handed – Right.

S – Siblings – 4 of them. Bruce, Brent, Brenna & Patrick. Don't ask... I know Patrick is the odd man out there. We still claim him as our own. Or did you want their nicknames? Bucey, Bunkie, Bunna &..... Patrick. Still, the odd man out.

T – Time you wake up – somewhere between 5-7am. Whenever the dogs decide I've slept long enough.

U – Underwear – what about it? Seriously? Do I like them? Sure. Do I wear them? Yes. The color of the ones I'm wearing? They are blue with Spongebob on them.

V – Vegetable you dislike – asparagus

W – What makes you run late – not a whole lot. I'm anal about being early.

X – X-rays you’ve had – Stomach, ribs, hands. I think thats it.

Y – Yummy food you make – If you ask everyone else - my ham macaroni salad. I don't think it's all that special. I personally like my peanut butter cup shakes. They rock.

Z – Zoo animal – Cougars. You can expect to find something to do for at least 1/2 hour when I get to them... I won't move.

Birthday Wishes

It's my bestest friend's birthday today so it's the most special day of the year! This gomer (as I say this with love) has been there for me since way back in 1993. We have said that we don't really remember not being best friends. We met and that was that. Sorta like love at first sight, but not.
This woman is probably the strongest person I know. The things that she has gone through in her life with her head held high is amazing. Sure, she had her days/weeks/months that she needed someone to shove their foot up her ass to get her moving, but all in all she's done everything on her own... for herself and her munchkins.
So today I say Happy Birthday to my bestest friend. Yep, she's better than best - she's bestest. And I love her just as much as I would love my own flesh & blood.

Who's Murray anyway?

You know that Murray I keep yapping about? Well here he is... I got him in 1988 when I was 15 years old and had him until 1994 . He was a stray when I got him but he soon became my baby that I've never forgotten.

Craving Ink

I have always had this tattoo in my head of Max & Murray. I wanted them standing next to each other. I've never seen a decent tat of either a golden or a black cat. Well, a few months ago I was at the vet and the new vet that was there had paw prints going up her arm. Now I know what I'm gonna do... 2 dog prints & 2 cat prints along side each other. Just don't know where yet.

But now that I know, 100%, what I want I'm craving ink in the worst way!!!

I have a tattoo on my calf (fills up my entire left calf) that my bestest friend got me for my wedding present... it's a cat looking out from behind a bunch of flowers. I've had it for 14 years and twice in the past month I've had two different people ask me if the cat is Big Boy (the cat that was put to sleep a couple months ago).. Like they didn't see this huge tat in the past decade?

I was thinking of one blue and one pink of each... Max, Murray, Saki & Serena. I have had lots of pets in my life but there's only a couple that actually dig deep in my heart. I don't think I'll do the colors, though. It was just a thought. I was also thinking if they could do a dark gray over the black so you could see if it you looked close - and have their names.

1. Someone knocks at your door. You answer it. It's a kid from the local school selling candy bars for a fundraiser. Do you buy one?
I'll admit it. I'm a sucker for kids and fundraisers. Especially considering my kids wouldn't even go to their grandparents to try to sell the crap - any kid that actually knocks on my door deserves my contribution.

2. The end of the world is tomorrow and you are out of milk - do you go buy some?
Of course. You can't eat chocolate chip cookies without it.. I'd pick up some peanut butter cups while I was there, too.

3. Have you ever picked up the phone and called someone that you hadn't talked to in years?
Yeah and it's scary as hell

4. Whats on your computer desktop background?
a black & white picture of Mel Gibson holding a black kitten.

5. What was the very first movie you saw in a movie theater?
E.T.

6. If you had to take a 10th grade science test, do you think you would pass?
I probably didn't pass it in 10th grade...

7. Describe heaven.
green grass... mountains in the distance... a stream that is crystal clear and warm to the touch... all sorts of critters running around and are not shy of humans... deer, bunnies, raccoons... I'm sitting in the grass with my Max & Murray (and all my other pets that have passed on) by by side and my family & friends are all around laughing and eating peanut butter cups.

8. Has a place that you lived ever been infested with some sort of insect or rodent?
No.... well, I had this house once that was infested with a guy who turned out to be a rodent, does that count?

9. When you were a youngin', did you hide in the clothes racks at department stores?
I don't remember, but I remember going into a different aisle and then running back to my mom. I grabbed onto her leg because I was afraid (not sure why) and when I looked up, it wasn't my mom... I found her farther down that aisle. I'm not sure, but I think I was really traumatized by that event.

10. Is there anything in your vehicle that is broken?
I shouldn't have asked that question this morning because when I went out to start my car today it had a seizure and wouldn't start. Seriously! It started making this clicking sound under the dash where the wires are and wouldn't stop. I thought for sure it was going to spontaneously combust or something. We aren't sure why, but the battery is dead. The husband did say the remote starter was only 1/2 hooked up.

11. What is something in your house that people would be surprise to find?
Most people are surprised by the snake.

12. Do you agree with the death penalty?
Yes I do as long as they are 1149% guilty beyond any and all reasonable doubt, which I know doesn't happen often. Charles Manson is one that should have gotten the death penalty.

13. Whats your favorite type of bear?
Demon #2!! She's my Krissy-Bear

14. Where was the last place you went?
outside to watch the husband try to fix my broken car.

15. What if that person knocking at your door earlier was an adult selling candy bars... would you buy one?
Ok now that is just wrong. I'd suddenly have a peanut allergy or something and politely decline their offer... after I asked them if they had a permit to peddle in our city.

Sunday Stealing: The Finish The Sentence Meme

1. I've come to realize that my last kiss... kept me awake until 2am. I am no longer happy about that because I am now tired.

2. I am listening to... listening to Demon #1 telling me about all the people who went into the ER last night on Trauma Life in the ER.
