As you can see, I figured out the 3-column thing. I still don't know if I like it, though. Maybe it will grow on me. We'll see.

Um... there's a new Star Trek movie?

2. Which popular sitcom character (past or present) are you most like?
Probably a toss up between Rosanne, Lucy & Joy on My Name is Earl

3. What kind of dreams do you have?
Wouldn't you like to know? Do you think you are in them?

4. Bugger it. Go get a tattoo and come back. Right, now answer me this, what ees eet?
The new vet here in town has paw prints going up the back of her arm. I think I found my new idea. 2 dog prints for Maxwell & Saki and 2 cat prints for Murray & Serena.

5. Do you think you could be on American Idol with the singing voice you have now without any voice training?
Depends on the song, honestly. I think I could make it to Hollywood, but not far after that I'm sure.

major road rash on my face & arms from a deer getting in the way of a motorcycle I was on

For what? What am I doing? How am I dressed? A bikini would be awful chilly in the mountains. But I'll take the Rocky Mountains, if you are offering.

The Notebook. Gets me everytime.

Yes. I was lazy and so was Kimber. And there's no reason why you lazy asses need our creativity every week... we deserve some fricken help every now & then.

Whenever I need to. Today I did only because it was 30mph winds and 90 degrees - I could hang stuff outside and my family won't notice because the clothes aren't stiff!

anything with Mel in it, of course.

17. If you won a million dollars in the lottery, would you keep working?
Yep. I'd open a critter crisis center. (a no-kill shelter)

Worms! They can crawl into a hole and the bears can't get them

Are you a rose expert?

I had/have 3 different rose bushes planted in front of my house. If you know my history, I plant roses every year and every year they die. Well, I decided to give up. Today I went out and bought day lillies to plant in their place. Thats something I can grow. I get all ready to dig out these 3 rose plants and look what I find....



each one of them is showing signs of life! A couple days ago there was nothing. Even as I started to cut down some of the stems, they were dry and brittle... dead, to my eyes... until I saw this.

Now, I know a rose plant should be a lot farther in growth in mid-May than this. My mini-roses, which I can grow, are going crazy with lots of leaves and showing signs of buds.

Are these things trying to tell me that they want to live?

The Official Teenager

Yesterday we had the birthday party for Demon #2. She's officially 13 now.

She's a video game addict. Her hopes for the future include working for Sega as a video game designer, so Sonic was the only thing that made sense to have on her cake.

My sister helped light all 13 candles, even though I was told, "candles are sooo 3rd grade, Mom".

I follow the rules.. as best I could. It would throw me into a fricken panic attack and I would pray that they didn't say they would kill me if I wouldn't stop shaking.

I just tell them no and hang up, but then wish I'd remember all the cool lines when I'm actually on the phone with them.

37 years

Nope.

Probably a month maybe? Two months if food includes dog & cat meat.

Holy crap!!!!

I just realized that this Saturday marks the day that I officially become a mom of not only one, but TWO fricken teenagers! This ain't right. Seriously people. I am not old enough to have 2 teens. It can't happen.... but it's gonna, isn't it? Holy crap.

And the last 13 years went.... where?

Unbelievable. What I wouldn't give for those terrible twos again. And don't any of you toddler moms come chewing my ass telling me how insane I am for saying that - I lived through the terrible twos, twice. And the terrifying threes... and guess what? It's a piece of fricken cake compared to the years ahead. Now instead of my sweet babies crying and running towards me when they are hurt, they run for their room and slam the door and scream "LEAVE ME ALONE!".

Terrible twos. Ha!

You ain't seen a tantrum until you've seen a PMS crazed teen.
